Welcome to the St. Johnsbury Band!
Founded in 1830, we are the nation's third oldest community band. We are located in the town of St. Johnsbury in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We perform throughout New England and host traditional Monday evening concerts in the St. Johnsbury bandstand in Courthouse Park from mid-June through mid-August.
Have fun exploring our site, reading about our history, looking at our schedule for the upcoming season, and meeting our members or find out how to become one yourself!

Thank you for visiting and come again!
Note: Due to construction on the Caledonia County Courthouse during the summer 2015 season, the Band will not be able to perform in the bandstand. Our summer concerts will be held at the front entrance of the St. Johnsbury School, 257 Western Ave, St. Johnsbury. The concerts will be at their usual 7:30pm time. There is plenty of space to sit on the grass and kids can play at the playground right next to the front entrance. Swimming is available at the Kiwanas pool next door to the school before the concert. We'll be having ice cream socials again with each concert. So come and have a wonderful summer evening of fun!
